Young Ambassadors Conference

The conference takes place in Lansdown Hall (downstairs)

A Bronze Young Ambassadors Conference for Y5-6 pupils

Schools can send 2-4 pupils

Pupils registered will receive a FREE Black Young Ambassadors T-shirt

A Young Ambassador should be a pupil who has the ability to inspire and influence young people, they should be a role model and have the ability to lead other young people.  Back at school they should promote PE and school sport, promote the positive values of sport and increase participation.  Below is a list of tasks they could complete.

Young Ambassador To Do List

Pupils will need wear full school uniform and bring a packed lunch.

The West Wilts PLT Conference will be taking place at the same time in the Council Chambers (upstairs)

The plan for the day

  1. 0945-1000 – Opening Ceremony
  2. 1000-1015 – Problem solving activities and team games
  3. 1015-1045 – Workshop 1
  4. 1045-1115 – Workshop 2
  5. 1115-1130 – Break
  6. 1130-1200 – Workshop 3
  7. 1200-1230 – Workshop 4
  8. 1230-1300 – Lunch
  9. 1300-1330 – Workshop 5
  10. 1330-1400 – Planning session with staff

More information on the content to follow but is likely to include: being a role model, school games values, change 4 life/30 active minutes, effective sports councils, SEND and planning.

Please note:

Please park in St Stephen’s Place Multi-storey which has 250 spaces and all day free parking.

If you are bringing a minibus, please part in the Court Street Car Park (you will need to pay)

Venue Risk Assessment

Any pupil who cannot have their photo taken must wear and orange band.  Please ask for this on arrival.
