Selwyn Widger

I have taught secondary PE since 2003 and from 2014 my job now combines teaching at Kingdown School alongside my West Wiltshire Schools Sports Partnership Organiser role. I relish the opportunity to work with young people and I am keen to develop the skills they can offer through both participation and leadership in sport.

Sport has always played an important part in my life from County Athletics as a junior to regular participation in hockey at the biggest club in the South West. My enjoyment of coaching has enabled me to work with a variety of abilities, from the grassroots level of hockey all the way up to National holding camps.

I simply wish others to share the same enjoyment. As my own young children develop and grow I am looking forward to nurturing and sharing in their enjoyment of sport and exercise.
